Share folder support in Air Explorer

Air Explorer already supported sharing links, now it supports share folder for Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive and OneDrive for Business.
When you share links:
1) The files are read only.
2) The recipient doesn’t need an account.
3) Doesn’t use up other person clouds quota.
4) Password protection is available  in some accounts and clouds.
When you share a folder:
1) It is allowed read/write access
2) User must have an account.
3) Use up the other person quota.
4) Manage the permissions.
When you choose “Share folder” you can manage the permissions that you give, for example, read only permissions or read/write permissions to the other user.
 When you have shared a folder, the folder icon changes for Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive and OneDrive for Business. Shared Box folders are shown now in grey or blue like in the Box web.

WebDav in Air Explorer

Air Explorer supports the best cloud servers and works with FTP, FTPS and SFTP accounts. Moreover, you can add WebDav accounts in Air Explorer.


If you have a Webdav account you can add it to Air Explorer easily. You only have to select the Webdav icon in the Accouns window and fill the gaps in the Webdav login window.


You have to search in the webdav webs which is the server. So for example in the following pages the servers are the following:

You can synchronize between your webdav accounts and clouds or your computer. For example, you can transfer files from Drobox to Webdav.

FTP and SFTP in Air Explorer

Air Explorer supports the best cloud servers: OneDrive, OneDrive for Business, Google Drive, Amazon Cloud Drive, 4shared, Box, Dropbox, Mega, Mediafire, Yandex, Baidu, Naver, Hidrive, pCloud,,, Adrive, Magenta Cloud, Stack Storage and Datto Drive.

Moreover, Air Explorer works with FTP, FTPS and SFTP accounts. They are commly used to acces servers in Internet like web servers or WordPress installations.


You can add these accounts like a cloud. Open the add account panel and select the FTP or SFTP logo and fill the server, user, password,etc.

Country specific clouds in Air Explorer

Naver (네이버 클라우드) in Air Explorer

Air Explorer supports more than twenty cloud file servers. Now, we have added Naver (네이버 클라우드), a South Korean cloud storage. Naver is currently Korea’s number one search engine and accounts for over 70% of the search market there. It also provides a news service, an e-mail service and a cloud storage service that offers 30GB of free storage.

You can add Naver to Air Explorer easily (

First sign up in Naver and create your own account.





When you finish to sing up in Naver, in Air Explorer open the Account window, select the Naver logo and enter your user and password.



Then you can work with it. Naver supported in Air Explorer includes file searching, transfers to and from other servers, sharing links, etc.

We have added the Korean cloud Naver and updated Onedrive for Business.

It can include the macro {DATE} to include the current date in the log file name, for example:
-Scheduled tasks can now have the macro {DATE} in the log file name, in this way one log file per day with the date in YYYYMMDD format will be created.
-New option to start the synchronization automatically when the comparison finishes.
-Scheduled tasks and command line commands only output the log to their log files, never to the default Air Explorer log file.
-Fixed close synchronization window while comparing did not stop the comparison if done using the the X button.
-To save memory only the latest 10000 log lines are kept in memory and shown in the log Window. To have the full log check the log file.


Google Team Drives in Air Explorer

We have added support for Google Team Drives in Air Explorer

Google Team Drives is a enterprise storage management system that allows to share spaces to teams, they can store, search, and access their files anywhere. Remember you need a G Suite account to use Google Team Drives.  Here you can learn more about it.!/


When you add your Google Drive account to Air Explorer, your Team Drive units will appear in the program. If you already had an account and join a Team Drive, you do not have to do anything, you can see it directly in Air Explorer.

How to add Yandex account with 2factor authentication

Yandex is a Russian cloud storage that give you 10 GB of free storage. You can add it easily in Air Explorer.

Once you have registered in Yandex, you just have to add your username and password in Air Explorer to add the account.


If you have a Yandex account and you have enabled 2factor authentication then you have to do one step more to add your account in Air Explorer. You have to enter in your Yandex account panel and generate an application password.


Then, add your username and the new password that you generated in the application password.


Now, you can use your Yandex account in Air Explorer.
