HiDrive
STRATO HiDrive can be reached through WebDAV or FTP, but Air Explorer connects to it directly, with nothing to set up. Add your HiDrive account, open it next to a folder on your computer or another cloud and drag the files across to back them up or move them to Google Drive, OneDrive or any other cloud. You can also share files with a link without opening the website. Air Explorer is free for Windows and Mac, and you don't need to sign up.
How to back up or transfer your HiDrive files
- Download Air Explorer for Windows or Mac and open it.
- Add your HiDrive account. In Accounts → Add account, choose HiDrive. STRATO's sign-in page opens in your web browser; sign in and allow access.
- Air Explorer opens your user folder in HiDrive (users › your name).
- Open HiDrive in one pane and a folder on your computer, or another cloud such as Google Drive, in the other.
- Drag the files or folders in either direction, or use Copy and Paste. You can follow each file in the task list at the bottom.

How do I sign in to HiDrive in Air Explorer?
On STRATO's sign-in page, which opens in your web browser. Air Explorer keeps the access permission; it doesn't store your password.
Can I keep a PC folder synced with HiDrive automatically?
Yes. Create a sync between the folder and HiDrive; to run it on a schedule you need Air Explorer Pro.
Does it work on Mac?
Yes. HiDrive is supported in Air Explorer for Windows and Mac.
